Energy Storage

Safeguarding future power needs with Energy Storage.
Energy Storage

At Cyclect, we understand the importance of energy storage and its role in ensuring a reliable and sustainable power supply. That’s why we provide a wide range of engineering and installation services to help our clients implement these systems in compliance with TR 77-2:2020 Electrical energy storage (EES) systems – Safety considerations for grid-integrated EES systems. Our team of experts works closely with clients to ensure that every aspect of their energy storage system, from design and integration to maintenance and testing, is done to the highest standards.

Energy storage systems can have a major impact on the sustainability and reliability of a company’s energy supply. With the ability to store excess energy produced from renewable sources, companies can reduce their reliance on fossil fuels, lower their carbon footprint and ensure a steady supply of clean energy even when the sun is not shining or the wind is not blowing. Our services help to make this a reality.

Energy storage systems have many applications across a wide range of industries, including the utility sector, residential and commercial buildings, transportation, and manufacturing. We understand the unique needs and requirements of each of these industries, and we work closely with our clients to design and implement systems that meet their specific needs.

At Cyclect, we believe in the importance of innovation and sustainability in all that we do. Our team of experts uses their extensive knowledge and experience to provide clients with cutting-edge engineering and installation services to help them achieve their goals. With our commitment to excellence and determination, we strive to make a positive impact on the industries we serve.

Energy Storage Types

Cyclect provides services related to a variety of energy storage systems, including:

  1. Battery storage: Batteries are used to store excess energy produced from renewable sources such as solar and wind. These batteries can be made from a variety of materials, such as lithium-ion or lead acid, and can be used for grid-scale storage, as well as backup power for homes and businesses.
  2. Thermal energy storage: Materials that can store and release heat, such as molten salt or water, are used to store excess energy. This stored energy can then be used to generate electricity when needed.
  3. Pumped hydro storage: Water pumps are used to store excess energy by pumping water uphill to a reservoir. When energy is needed, the water is released back downhill through turbines to generate electricity.
  4. Flywheel energy storage: A spinning flywheel is used to store excess energy. The flywheel is spun up using excess energy and then can be used to generate electricity when needed.

Each of these energy storage systems has its own advantages and disadvantages, and choosing the right one for a particular application requires careful consideration of factors such as cost, efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Our team of experts works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, and to recommend the best energy storage system for their needs.
