Cyclect Singapore is pleased to announce the expansion of its operational capacity with the addition of a new workshop in Tuas and its certification as an ABB Value Provider. These milestones reflect Cyclect’s ongoing commitment to delivering reliable engineering solutions to clients across various industries.
Strategic Workshop Expansion in Tuas
The new Tuas WS2 workshop significantly increases the capacity of Cyclect’s existing WS1 workshop and enhances its ability to provide MRO services for critical motors and generators. This addition, supported by advanced technology and a skilled team, positions Cyclect to better meet the increasing demands of the industry.
The Tuas workshop comes equipped with ABB’s cutting-edge equipment, including:
- A large epoxy resin Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) for HV and MV motor and generator reconditioning.
- A large dynamic balancing machine to ensure that large machines are balanced according to specifications after service.
- An advanced ABB performance and diagnostic test bench designed to conduct comprehensive testing for motors and generators.
- Load Test Equipment to ensure that repaired equipment is operating under load conditions
This expansion complements Cyclect’s existing facilities and increases the efficiency and range of its service offerings.
