LINQ, the innovative automated wheelchair system developed by Automation Robotics Technology (ART), a subsidiary of Cyclect, has been featured on the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) This Week magazine and the NTUC U Portal. The article, written by Ms. Avelyn Ng, highlights the technology expertise of Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), prototyping expertise of Watson EP, and funding from SPRING Singapore that enabled Cyclect to create the LINQ system using its latching mechanism and platooning software.
LINQ was initially developed for logistics staff to better handle heavy items using robotics, but was successfully adapted for prototype wheelchairs used in airports. ART is honored to be featured for its innovative solution, and is committed to continuing to turn imaginations into possibilities.
