Shuangliang’s Hot-Water-Fired Absorption Chillers (HFAC) are energy-efficient, large-scale industrial equipment that uses hot water as its driving energy, lithium bromide solution as its absorbent, and water as its refrigerant. Depending on the hot water temperature, Shuangliang offers a range of options, including double-effect chillers, single-stage hot water chillers, two-stage hot water chillers, low hot water temperature chillers, and two lift hot water chillers to cater to different client’s needs and working conditions.

One of the key benefits of hot-water-fired absorption chillers is their ability to save on electricity costs. Because the power consumption of absorption chillers is minimal compared to electric chillers, using hot water as a driving energy source can help to generate chilling for industrial or commercial applications at no cost.

The hot-water-fired absorption chillers has a cooling capacity of 350-6890 kW, with a chilled water temperature range of 5-7°C. It is made up of a high-pressure generator, low-pressure generator, condenser, evaporator, absorber, and heat exchanger. Its auxiliary parts include a vacuum pump, purging unit, and canned motor pumps. Heat is generated in a burner, and the whole refrigeration process takes place in a vacuum. The HFAC is especially useful in areas with ample fuel sources or manufactured gas. Its application greatly reduces the use of electricity, saves on operating costs, and balances peak and valley loads.
