Shuangliang Steam-Fired Absorption Chiller

Efficiency meets sustainability with our steam-fired absorption chiller. Cut energy costs while reducing emissions.
Shuangliang Steam-Fired Absorption Chiller

Shuangliang Steam-Fired Absorption Chillers (SFAC) are large-scale industrial units that use steam as the driving energy, lithium bromide solution as the absorbent, and water as the refrigerant. The SFAC delivers a cooling capacity of 233-11630KW and produces chilled water at temperatures ranging from 5°C to 7°C. The SFAC is driven by steam with a pressure of 0.01 to 0.15Mpa, and has a high coefficient of performance (COP) of 1.43.

The SFAC is made up of a high-pressure generator, low-pressure generator, condenser, evaporator, absorber, and heat exchanger. Its auxiliary parts include a vacuum pump, purging unit, and canned motor pumps for the solution and refrigerant. Heat is transferred in a shell and tube heat exchanger. The vacuum pump and purging unit allow for the refrigeration process to be carried out in a vacuum.

The SFAC is suitable for use in areas with ample steam supply and is particularly useful for reducing electricity usage and operating costs, as well as balancing peak and valley loads. It is suitable for use in central air conditioning systems and industrial processes.

One of the key benefits of the SFAC is its ability to utilize low-cost steam sources, such as the steam generated by waste heat recovery boilers (WHRB) from high-temperature flue gas, or steam extracted from industrial processes that would otherwise be wasted. This allows for cost savings and efficient use of resources.

In regions where steam is readily available, the SFAC offers an attractive solution to the challenge of peak electricity demand during the summer months. Its use can greatly reduce the need for electricity and compensate for peak-valley load differences.

Overall, the Shuangliang Steam-Fired Absorption Chiller is a reliable and cost-effective solution for providing chilled water in industrial and commercial settings.
