Cyclect secures electrical contract for National Environmental Agency's Tuas Nexus waste management facility. Improving Singapore's waste management and sustainability.
Secured Tuas Nexus Project

Cyclect Electrical Engineering has been chosen to handle the electrical works for the National Environmental Agency’s new Tuas Nexus Integrated Waste Management Facility. The team at Cyclect will be responsible for installing the electrical infrastructure for the facility, including power, lighting, earthing and lightning protection systems, as well as extra-low voltage systems.

The Tuas Nexus Project is a state-of-the-art waste management facility being developed by the National Environmental Agency (NEA) in Singapore. The facility is designed to have a treatment capacity of up to 7,000 metric tons of waste per day, making it one of the largest waste management facilities in the country. It will feature advanced waste processing technologies, including an incineration plant, a material recovery facility, and a biomass power plant, to help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill and recover valuable resources. The facility will also be equipped with systems to ensure that the waste management process is environmentally-friendly and minimizes any potential impact on the surrounding area.

In addition to the Tuas Nexus Project, Cyclect has also successfully completed numerous similar projects, including the China-Guangzhou Nuclear Company’s Biomass Power Plant, the Tuas South Incineration Plant, and the Tuaspring Desalination and Integrated Power Plant.
