Solar Power Solutions for Asia Pacific Brewery: Cyclect First Major Solar Project

Cyclect completed Singapore’s first major solar project with a 2MW installation for Asia Pacific Brewery, powering Tiger Beer with solar energy and marking a milestone in sustainable manufacturing.

Pioneering Solar Power for a Sustainable Brewery

In 2014, Cyclect embarked on a landmark renewable energy project with Asia Pacific Brewery (APB), known for its popular Tiger Beer. This project marked Cyclect’s Cyclect First Major Solar Project in Singapore, with a 2MW solar installation on APB’s rooftop. This innovative setup allowed APB’s brewery operations to be partially powered by solar energy, setting a new standard for sustainable manufacturing practices in Singapore. As a result, every bottle of Tiger Beer produced at the facility could proudly claim it was “powered by the sun.” This project demonstrated Cyclect’s commitment to sustainable solutions, aligning with Singapore’s national goals of increasing renewable energy usage.

Empowering Sustainable Solutions for High-Profile Clients

For Cyclect, the project with APB represented more than just a technical achievement; it was a key milestone in establishing the company as a trusted provider of renewable energy solutions for high-profile clients. The solar installation not only reduced the brewery’s reliance on conventional energy sources but also significantly lowered its carbon footprint, showcasing the practical benefits of renewable energy in industrial applications. Cyclect’s success in delivering the solar power solution solidified its reputation in the green energy sector, paving the way for future projects in renewable energy and supporting Singapore’s push towards a sustainable future.
