We’re looking for talented a Construction Manager with effective communication skills and strong leadership skills to make decisions that ensure the quality and timeliness of construction deliverables by overseeing onsite operations teams, vendors, subcontractors and clients. The ability to build teams and remain cool under pressure is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction activities including planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of installation and construction works on site.
- Ensure project progress meet project submission, project schedule including coordinating activities and resolving problems
- Managing the work activities and performance of the subcontractors, supervisors and workers and liaise with clients, relevant authorities and consultants to resolve bottlenecks.
- Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time.
- Prepare and update all site reports, monitor and report progress of project.
- Review material specifications and drawings; resolve discrepancies and seek approval from clients.
- Conduct safety compliance and risk assessment.
Requirements
- Experience with Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, distribution board, cable selection, electrical single line drawing, cable containment system, lighting fixtures, lux simulation.
- Experience with Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, Information Security Management System (ISMS), Telecommunication, Structured Cabling System, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) and card access system is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and team building skills.
- Able to perform project management activities like project planning, scheduling.
- Ability to remain cool under pressure.
- Excellent engineering knowledge and project execution competence.
- Experienced with large manufacturing facilities construction sites.
- Good verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
