Singapore, On 8th November 2013, Cyclect Group celebrated its 70th anniversary with over 300 guests, including our guest of honor Minister of State for Industry, Teo Ser Luck, clients and partners. The event, held at the Tower Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel, was attended by directors and long-serving staff.
Managing Director, Melvin Tan, opened the celebration with a milestone video and speech. He highlighted the history of the company, which started as a small household electronics repair shop in 1943. Through the hard work of the founder, Tan Ai Meng, Cyclect became one of the most reliable repair companies in Singapore. Today, the group has grown into a full-fledged engineering services company with over 500 employees and operations in 9 countries.
The evening was filled with entertainment and laughter, including a traditional three toasting session and an “Ice Breaking” ceremony. The directors knocked down a seven and zero digit ice sculpture to signify the breakthrough of the company’s 70-year mark. The celebration ended with guests dancing and singing into the night.
