The company was honored with the ASEAN Business Award and the Most Admired ASEAN Enterprise Award for Innovation. The awards were presented by Myanmar President Thein Sein.
The ASEAN Business Awards is an annual event organized by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (BAC) to recognize outstanding ASEAN companies that contribute to the region’s economic growth and prosperity. The awards are based on four categories: Growth, Employment, Innovation, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The ABA is a highly reputable award in the region and the nominations, assessments and selections were administrated by KPMG as the Strategic Partner, ensuring the high-quality and independency of the awards.

About ASEAN Business Advisory Council
The ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) is an organization established by the ASEAN Heads of State and Government (HOSGs) at the 7th ASEAN Summit in November 2001 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The organization was set up with the mandate to provide private sector feedback and guidance to boost ASEAN’s efforts towards economic integration. The ASEAN-BAC aims to enhance the private sector’s participation in the integration process and provide advice to the ASEAN Economic Community Council and the ASEAN Coordinating Council. The council also works to promote and enhance the economic relations and cooperation among ASEAN member states as well as between ASEAN and dialogue partners. The ASEAN-BAC is composed of one representative from each ASEAN member state appointed by the respective HOSG.
